We made a YouTube show

Big announcement

We’ve been writing this newsletter for two. Years. Solid. Just about every week (thanks Oren for keeping it rolling).

We’ve learned a ton (and hope that you have too) in the process, and it’s opened our eyes to how important it is to have creative resources like this for people building their own brands in the luxury and consumer world.

And over the last few months, we’ve been quietly working on perhaps one of the greatest resources we’ve ever put out. It’s something we’re really proud of.

Here’s the story…

So, late last year, Air—who we produced the Guide to Creative Work with—approached us with the idea to take all the topics we’ve written about and put them into a long-form video format (aka YouTube).

We immediately said yes and began put the themes and scripts together. The whole process felt effortless… and the rest is history.

We’re in a moment creatively when it’s easier than ever to do whatever the f*ck you want, but the benchmark for what “good” looks like has gotten so distorted that people are losing sight of what it means to put real love and intention into their work.

We’ve both worked with brands and teams that are incredibly sharp creatively… but completely overwhelmed operationally.

So we wanted to create a new content format for sharing ideas and resources for those in the trenches.

That’s how we landed on this video format. We decided to treat it like a low-key Netflix show for brand people, focusing on NYC for Season 1.

So, for the next 6 weeks, we’ll drop a new episode exploring the strategies, tools, and behind-the-scenes workflows that power the world’s most creative teams.

Each episode is around 20-30 minutes long and packed with insights from designers, marketers, agencies, brands, creatives, etc. who actually walk the talk.

  • Why most creative workflows are still duct-taped together

  • What high-output teams are doing differently

  • How to design systems that scale with your ideas

PS — if your creative team is still living in scattered folders across Google Drive, Dropbox, and everything under the sun, you’re not alone.

There’s a better way—Air is becoming the system of record for creative work, and you should look deeper into what they do for your creative needs.
